La Pine Trip

Last weekend we went to La Pine to visit David's Grandpa & Grandma Keller. We took our friends Ryan and Marley with us. We had lots of fun for a short Friday night to Sunday afternoon trip. We went kayaking/rafting down the Deschutes on Saturday and then drove out to this awesome little restaurant called the Cowboy Dinner Tree, where you are served either a 26-30 oz. steak or a whole chicken. The rest of the meal is all homemade goods, served family style! We all went wrong with drinking about 2 qts. of pink lemonade each!!! Basically, we all took home the majority of the main course. The homemade rolls were to die for too. I'd highly recommend this little place, if you happen to be out in that middle of no where area! Oh, and you have to call ahead and make reservations, because they are booked! On Sunday, we went to church and then looked at some of the houses on the Bend Tour of Homes. It was a very fun weekend to say the least!

Ready for our trip on the river...

Outside the Cowboy Dinner Tree with Ryan & Marley...

My WHOLE Chicken...

Ryan's 30 oz. Steak...more like a Roast!

Playing a round of horseshoes.

This is it...the Cowboy Dinner Tree...not even joking.

Just some of the toys they have for you to play with while waiting for your dinner...cowboy stuff...
